I’ve lost count of the amount of times I have been shown how to sharpen a knife the ‘proper’ way with a stone, but for some reason, I was never happy with the edge.
Since this is our company name, we thought it only fitting that we should pen a small article about the topic of total knife care.
Back in 2002, Mike Moran of Cleanbrite was running a business selling cleaning products to people and businesses based out in Western Queensland. On the road he’d often meet a very select group of people, mainly men but some women – the roo shooters.
I hate blunt knives and when a work colleague told me his knives hadn’t been sharpened in 10 years, I took it on as a personal challenge to enlighten him of the delight of working with sharp knives. And his wife is overjoyed.
